What is End-to-End Encryption and its relation to 2Faktor?

By default, 2Faktor uses end-to-end encryption to ensure your data remains private and secure. Only you and those you authorize can access your authentication codes.

For extra protection, you can enable additional client-side encryption, but keep in mind that this requires saving a recovery key.
Without it, you won’t be able to reset your password if you forget it.

This extra layer of security gives you full control over your data, ensuring complete privacy.
