Our Story is Simple
As a security company managing multiple accounts, networks, and system infrastructure to protect our clients, we always prioritized best practices for optimal safety.
Naturally, we enabled 2FA for everything we set up, opting for the highest level of security alongside their passwords.
We Had a Problem
There was no standalone, secure, and affordable tool designed specifically for teams and external users to manage shared 2FA.
To gain access, we had to repeatedly bother clients for their 2FA codes. If we tried any 2FA-sharing workarounds, employees, both in the office and remotely, then had to chase each other down just to get the code. It wasn’t practical and quickly became a major hassle for everyone involved.
Even worse, when we tried existing solutions, like PAM software or password managers with 2FA, we realized they actually undermined the security of 2FA. Storing shared tokens in the same system as passwords created a single point of failure. If compromised, both credentials and authentication factors would be at risk, defeating the purpose of having two factors.
We assumed a secure way to share 2FA with multiple users already existed, but there was no standalone, secure, and affordable tool designed specifically for teams and external users to manage shared 2FA.
